USA Fabrics,
Inc. is an American owned and operated company located in Quitman, MS.
Our knitting machines are 20 and 22 cut. We offer jersey fabric from size
10" to 34" finish tubular. We knit 100% cotton, 50poly/50 cotton,
100% poly, 90% cotton/10% black poly, 80% cotton/20% poly, ring-spun combed
and carded. We can knit 2 end fleece and pique and stripes from pre-dyed
yarm on volume orders. We offer PFD fabric for garment wash. We also knit
cuffs and collars, and can add spandex if needed. Our fabric weights are
from 4 oz. To 7.5 oz. And yarn sizes 12/1 to 30/1.
Dyeing
Plant
 Our
dye plant is equipped with Gaston County and Thies pressure dyeing machines.
Automatic Soft Flow Atmospheric Dyeing Machines for Natural Fibers, such
as cotton, and Automatic Soft Flow High Temperature Dyeing Machines for
Synthetic Fibers such as Polyester.
We have a dye
capacity of 20,000 lbs per day.
Our finishing
plant has Relaxed Conveyor Dryers for better shrinkage control and
Compactors for controlling Dimensional Stability and for providing brilliance
in finishing.
Physical
Testing Laboratory
USA Fabrics
has a Physical Testing Laboratory where both processes and fabrics are
certified according to thickness, weight, color fastness, friction tests
and dimensional stability. We have color matching technology that enables
different types of fabrics to simultaneously dyed and finished with perfect
color consistency.
We will match to your color swatches or pantone numbers.
Our customers trust us to dye and finish their fabrics on time and to
their specifications.
 We
knit, dye, and finish jersey and rib fabric to your fabric spec and color
swatch. We will also contract dye and finish your knitted fabric. Fabric
is inspected to ensure superior quality. In fact we have less fall out
from unfinished to finished fabric than most in the industry. We have
a color lab that enables us to match your color needs to perfect color
consistency. We also test fabric according to thickness, weight, and color
fastness.
James McKinney is the Vice President and also serves as the Plant Manager with
over 20 plus years in Fabric Finishing and industry dealings.
